Jeff leads Regulatory Strategy for Kalshi and is the co-founder of Global Digital Finance Initiative. He also founded BlockAgent Inc., an independent SEC-registered transfer agent focused on blockchain-based digital securities.

Keith Bear
Fellow, Centre for Alternative Finance, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge

Biography

Keith is currently a Fellow at Cambridge University’s Centre for Alternative Finance, part of the Judge Business School, and a Fintech advisor/mentor. Previously he was the Global Leader for Financial Markets within IBM’s Industry Platforms organisation. Over the last year, he focused on Blockchain deployment in the Financial Markets and Trade Finance working with clients such as CLS, LSEG, DTCC and many others.

Alex Buelau

Biography

Alex is co-Founder and CTO at Parfin. He has spent over 20 years building software in enterprise and start-up settings. Alex started mining Bitcoin in 2013 and he has been building and investing in numerous companies in the space both as an angel investor and also participating in token offerings starting from the Ethereum ICO in 2014. In Parfin he has been deeply involved with the MPC Custody solution, helping build it from the ground up into a fully-fledged and secure institutional grade custody solution.

Ivan Damgård, PhD
Professor, Aarhus University

Biography

Ivan Damgård is professor in cryptography at Aarhus University. He is co-founder of Cryptomathic, Partisia and Sepior, and is one of the top cited and publishing researchers in cryptography. Ivan is a fellow of the IACR and received the 2015 RSA Award for Excellence in the Field of Mathematics. He also received the STOC 2021 test of time award for his work on multiparty computation.

Adam Fleisher

Biography

Adam works with all types of payments services companies that are trying to navigate the complex nonbank financial services regulatory landscape. His focus is on helping clients get payments products and services to market, helping position them to operate effectively in the heavily regulated financial services arena, and working with them to manage their regulatory compliance structures and to grow and expand their regulated activities.

Jordan Forssman

Biography

With a background in economics, Jordan joined Cybersecurity firm Armorize Technologies in 2006, earned his CeH certification, and developed new applications leading to acquisition by Proofpoint (Nasdaq: PFPT) in 2013, where he developed a product line that grew to over USD 350M ARR and served 56 of the Fortune 100. In 2018, Jordan co-founded crypto exchange XREX, where he developed all operational policies and oversaw technology implementation, including CYBAVO VAULT.

Oren Goldberg
Senior Solution Architect, Fireblocks

Biography

Oren is a cybersecurity and security architecture expert with 3+ years experience as a network intelligence analyst for the Israeli Defense Forces and 5+ years building architecture and intelligence solutions for national agencies at Israeli security firms Rayzone Group and Cyberia. Oren plays an instrumental role in helping Fireblocks understand our clients’ existing security infrastructure and unique needs. He works hand in hand with Fireblocks’ Product and R&D teams to design custom implementations that incorporate Fireblocks MPC-CMP algorithm within a multi-layer security framework for some of the largest and most sophisticated financial institutions worldwide.

David Grigoryan

Experienced software architect, engineer and technical lead. He has worked for 4 large banks, 2 telcos, 3 exited startups and a blue chip company in London, San Francisco and Europe. More recently, David was among the first employees of Vo1t Digital Asset Custody, an HSM-based custody provider acquired by Genesis Trading.

Dan Guido
Founder and CEO, Trail of Bits

Biography

Dan is the CEO of Trail of Bits, a cybersecurity firm he founded in 2012 to address software security challenges with cutting-edge research. Dan contributes to cybersecurity policy papers from RAND, CNAS, and Harvard. He runs Empire Hacking, a 1,500-member meetup group focused on NYC. In prior roles, Dan taught at NYU, consulted at iSEC Partners (now NCC Group), and worked as an incident responder for the Federal Reserve System.

Charles holds a Master of Science in Cryptography & Security at the Engineering School ENSIMAG. He started his career at Tiempo where he designed the security of EAL5+ secure integrated circuits. He then worked as Technical Manager in an Information Technology Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF) at the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission).

Clarisse Hagège

Clarisse studied Applied Economics, Political Science and Finance at SciencesPo, Dauphine, Sorbonne in Paris. Clarisse has been working for Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Crédit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank since the global financial crisis broke out in 2007. Throughout her entire career as an investment banker, she had had the opportunity to explore and gauge the subtle complexity of today’s modern financial system on top of which economies all run. Trade and export finance, FX, interest rate derivatives, loan syndication, equity and debt capital markets, M&A, project and optimisation financing, securitization, cash and wealth management: Clarisse has the many faces of finance and knows what it would require from crypto to re-bank the world.

Biography

Plamen started working on Transaction Reporting For OTC Derivatives at Bank of America, then went into crypto and worked for Blockex and Plutus on ICO issuance services, trade execution, settlement and rebate systems, as well as wallet infrastructures for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar and many other blockchains. In parallel, Plamen founded a web3 consulting company. Today, as Principal R&D Engineer, he focuses on the implementation of patent-pending crypto-systems in Rust based on MPC, TSS and other ZK primitives.

Biography

Ankur joined Marsh in Mumbai as a graduate in 2008 and moved to London in 2017 as part of the UK Specie Practice, where he specialized in digital assets insurance. During his 13 year career, Ankur has worked with clients across a wide range of industries including financial institutions and technology organizations. In his new role, Ankur is responsible for development of new insurance solutions for digital assets such as cryptocurrency.

Guillaume Le Saint is the founder & CEO of atato, a licensed digital asset custodian based in Singapore.

Guillaume spent 15 years in blockchain, crypto and enterprise information technology. Formerly the chief information officer for a Bangkok-based multinational, he quit his job to start atato in 2018, sensing that blockchains were going mainstream. As an early, vocal promoter of Ethereum, he helped build the enterprise blockchain and ethereum communities in Bangkok and is now on a mission to build the user interface of tomorrow’s secure computers a.k.a Blockchains.

Yehuda Lindell
Cryptographer, Coinbase

Biography

Yehuda Lindell is a cryptographer at Coinbase, and a professor of Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University in Israel (currently on leave). Yehuda has expertise in secure multiparty computation (MPC) and in deploying state-of-the-art cryptography in production. He has published over 100 scientific articles, and authored one of the most widely used textbooks on modern cryptography. Prior to coming to Coinbase, Yehuda was the CEO and co-founder of Unbound Security.

Kurt Nielsen, PhD

Biography

Kurt Nielsen holds a PhD in Business Economics and did combined graduate studies at the University of Copenhagen, University of Toronto and UC Berkeley. He has been pioneering the use of advanced distributed cryptography as Associated Professor at University of Copenhagen and most notably as co-founder of Partisia, Sepior and Partisia Blockchain Foundation. He has worked as entrepreneur, researcher, and consultant across industries and with a special focus on strategic decision making, applied information economics, advanced cryptography, mechanism design and data science in broad terms.

Ouriel Ohayon

Biography

Ouriel Ohayon is the CEO of ZenGo, a new generation of All-in-one crypto wallet focused on simplicity and safety. He’s a former executive at ICQ/AOL, founder of TechCrunch France (sold to AOL), Isai.fr (leading French VC) and was general manager of the internet Lab of Gemini and Lightspeed Ventures. Ouriel is French and Israeli, based in Tel Aviv.

Jakob was formerly the head of the Security Lab at Danish research institute Alexandra Institutttet and is the co-founder of Partisia and Sepior. Jakob holds a PhD in computer science from Aarhus University and is a member of the Danish Council for IT Security as well as the committee for IT Security at the Confederation of Danish Industry.

Ben Whitby
VP Strategic Partnerships, Qredo

Biography

Ben Whitby grew up coding and exploring computers, and then went on to build the world’s first interest rate swap trading platform in 2001. He later led regulatory teams at Accenture and PwC, playing a key role for Dodd Frank in the UK, before spending 8 years with HSBC as Regulatory Conduct and Financial Crime Specialist — a role that involved writing the bank’s first policy on Bitcoin in 2013. Eventually in 2017 he went into crypto full time, and joined the Tokencard / Monolith team before becoming a founding team member of Qredo, the decentralised MPC security network that enables financial institutions to secure cryptoassets on their own balance sheet.
